Group fitness instructors
The Division of Recreational Sports is looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals to teach fitness classes to students, faculty and staff. If you are interested in teaching activities like aerobics, aqua fitness or group cycling, informational sessions and try-outs are offered throughout the school year. After successful completion of a try-out, you will be required to attend workshops and training sessions. Training sessions are from a few weeks to a semester in length. Once completed, a written and/or practical exam must be passed. Then individuals begin the teaching process by working with other instructors in leading exercise classes. Preference is given to those students with a 3 semester commitment.

Information sessions and try-outs begin in the Fall semester. Check the internet and signs around Nat and SERF for dates and times. Learn more about Group Fitness recruitment.

How to Apply: Sign up for try-outs during recruitment periods at the SERF office, 608-262-8244
