Retired UW-Madison employees (i.e., former employees eligible to receive WRS annuities) should retain their UW-Madison identification cards for access to university libraries, Recreational and other facilities. ID cards of those granted emeriti status remain valid. Non-emeriti retirees who wish to continue using the facilities should contact their previous employing department. The department will contact the Office of Human Resources by email, retiredID@bascom.wisc.edu, with the following information:

• Name
• Social Security number
• Date of birth
• Gender
• Permanent home address
• Date retired
• Eligibility status for Wisconsin Retirement Annuity while working
