MAP - 2000 Observatory Drive, Madison, WI 53706
There are meters available both in front of the Nat in lot 43 or behind the Nat in lot 57. The meters charge $1 per hour, or 25¢ for 15 minutes and there is an 8 hour limit.
Lots 57 & 62:
- Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Meter Stall - pay the meter; Permit Stall - display a valid UW Annual Baselot permit for the lot.
- Monday - Saturday 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and all day Sunday (except football Saturdays and other special events) the meters are free and the lot is open to the public.

Lot 43:
- Monday - Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Meter Stall - pay the meter; Permit Stall - display a valid UW Annual Baselot permit for the lot.
- Monday - Saturday 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and all day Sunday the meters are free and the lot is open to the public.

Bike racks are available next to the front entrance of the facility.

Free parking does not include restricted areas such as driveways and aisles, reserved stalls, disabled stalls, loading zones, construction areas or lots being used for Special Events.
Lots are enforced per Lot Enforcement Times listed, no exceptions are made for holidays.

Take I-90 or US 151 to Hwy 12/18.
Exit Hwy 12/18 at Park Street (Exit 261 B). Proceed north on Park Street about five miles to University Ave. Turn left onto University Ave. (one way going west only), go 0.5 miles. Bear right at Babcock Dr., go 0.3 miles. Turn left at Observatory Drive (4 way stop), go 0.4 miles. The Nat will be on the right, 2000 Observatory Dr. Parking will be on the left in lots 43 or 62.
