Chad Doe
Certified: Since August of 2008
Future goals: My future goal is to work in Latin America, building clinics and working with healthcare companies to hopefully improve the quality of life in South America. Being that I already speak Spanish, I will be taking intensive Portuguese classes this fall so I will be fully prepared to work in all areas of Latin America, mainly Brazil where I would like to work most. My immediate goals include working in a clinic during my winter break somewhere in South or Central America. I also plan on working for the AIDS network with my roommate in South Africa during the 2010 World Cup.
Types of clients: The type of client I enjoy is one who is not only committed but honest. As a trainer, my clients goals are my goals, and I see their failures and accomplishments as mine own. That said, I expect my clients to work hard so we can achieve the goals we set together.
Training I enjoy: I am an ex football player and track runner so I like to incorporate many exercises which involve and improve one’s footwork and coordination. Some of these exercises for example include agility ladders and plyometrics. Recently I have been experimenting with kettle bells and TRX machine which I will most likely incorporate in my clients work outs and as place them in my own.
Why you are trainer: I was obese for majority of my life and had to slowly learn how to live a healthier life. I believe that exercise improves more than just one’s general fitness, but improves one’s confidence which is important in all aspects of life. I became a trainer in order to teach other’s how they can improve their lives through fitness as I did with mine.
